Worked for Highland Park ISD for 4 years. His first two years at HP High School he worked as the quarterbacks coach. He now works with receivers. He worked five years at Abilene Cooper High School as Head Baseball and Secondary Coach. He then worked one year at A&M; Consolidated High School in the same capacities.
Scotty graduated from Abilene Cooper High School where he was an All-State Quarterback and an All-American in Baseball. He earned a BS from the University of Texas where he was an All-American in Baseball. He played six years of professional baseball before two consecutive shoulder injuries ended his career.
